Smashy Hands!

Smashy Hands is a destructible-environment hide-and-seek survival game on Roblox where one player becomes a giant pair of floating killer hands that can punch through walls and smash other players, while everyone else hides and scrambles to survive. Developed by rezrift, onikateru, and Phoenix_Horizon, the game launched in February 2024 and attracted over 28.8 million visits in roughly 18 months.

Each round randomly selects one player as the Seeker - transformed into enormous floating hands with the power to destroy the environment. All other players become Hiders who must scatter and find cover before the Seeker hunts them down. What separates Smashy Hands from conventional hide-and-seek games is the destructible map: the Seeker can punch through walls, demolish buildings, and tear apart cover to physically expose hiding players. Late-round play often unfolds across a significantly damaged map where no hiding spot survives untouched:

• ⚔️ Seeker Role - punch to destroy environmental cover, smash Hiders on contact to eliminate them; the goal is to find and eliminate everyone before the timer expires
• 🗺️ Destructible Environment - walls, buildings, and obstacles can be punched apart by the Seeker, making static hiding spots unreliable as rounds progress
• 🏠 Hider Role - find cover, track the Seeker's destruction patterns, adapt as terrain degrades; the last surviving Hider wins the round
• 🏆 18-Player Servers - larger than most 1-vs-all games, creating more chaos and more simultaneous hiding options
• 💰 Cash Economy - the only in-game currency; earned from rounds as both Seeker and Hider, spent in the Shop on cosmetic skins, gloves, and kill effects

The Vote system lets players influence who becomes the Seeker each round. Double Vote and 10x Vote permanent gamepasses amplify voting power for players who prefer the offensive role. The Shop is also where codes are redeemed, accessed via the left-side screen button.

The game follows a bi-weekly update schedule, with new content releasing every other Friday at 4 PM EST - one of the more transparent update cadences on Roblox.
