About sno day
sno day is a chaotic first-person snowball free-for-all on Roblox developed by sno bro where up to 30 players throw snowballs, earn hats, and rank up on a live scoreboard. Created in November 2018 and still actively updated through April 2026, it has accumulated over 78.5 million visits and nearly 600K favorites - one of the most enduring casual PvP games on Roblox.
The gameplay is deliberately stripped down. Everyone spawns with snowballs in a shared open arena and throws them at everyone else in first-person view. There are no teams, no objectives beyond the live scoreboard, and no weapons other than snowballs. Higher scores earn hats and rank up your account. Crates can be opened for additional hat unlocks. The April 2026 update added many new hats and new crates, reflecting the developer's ongoing commitment to the cosmetic ecosystem:
- π Scoreboard - live ranking of current session participants; top scores earn exclusive hats
- π Hats - the primary cosmetic reward earned through ranking; many varieties across different rarity tiers
- πΊοΈ Crates - loot boxes opened for additional hat rewards beyond what rank progression provides
- π° Ranks - progression tiers earned through cumulative score across sessions; Rank 25 unlocks dual hats for free
The Scoobis are a separate secret element - hidden collectable creatures scattered across the arena in Rare, Sapphire, and Golden variants. Finding them unlocks dedicated badges. The Two Hats gamepass lets players wear two cosmetic hats simultaneously, and the same perk unlocks for free at Rank 25, giving long-term players a cosmetic milestone to work toward.
The game's identity is carried by its all-lowercase branding, winter visual style, and a distinctive tone - the game description includes a personal tribute note from the developers that has become part of sno day's known character.
