Snow Shoveling Simulator is one of Roblox's original idle simulators, launched in December 2017 by Virtual Block Studio. Players shovel snow accumulating across the fictional town of Winterville, selling it to the NPC Frosty to earn Money for progressively better shovels, vehicles, and pets. With over 140 million visits and 1.2 million favorites, it is a Roblox classic that helped pioneer the "shovel X, earn money, buy upgrades" loop that dozens of later simulators adopted.

The core loop pulls in two directions at once. Shovel snow on the ground, bring it to Frosty, collect Money, and repeat. As your Money grows you move up through shovel tiers that clear more snow per swing, Vehicles that let you travel faster or bulk-clear entire patches, and Pets that work alongside you passively. A second track opens at Ice Mountain - a separate map area where Ice cubes can be gathered and traded at Larry's House for both Money and additional Ice:

Money is the single economy driving all progress. The code system is currently disabled pending an announced Revamp that will overhaul the game's mechanics - a December 2025 update was the most recent change, and the developer community is watching for the revamp announcement.
