Space Sailors

Space Sailors is an atmospheric sci-fi exploration and spaceflight simulator on Roblox created by solo developer Pulsarnova. Players board rockets, launch into orbit, visit the International Space Station, embark on Artemis Moon missions, or push further to land on Mars and beyond - all within a scientifically inspired environment built around a custom 3D atmosphere rendering engine. A 2021 Bloxy Award nominee, the game has accumulated over 73 million visits and regularly draws hundreds to thousands of concurrent explorers. It prioritizes immersion and discovery over combat or grinding.

The experience is freeform - there is no progression meter or resource grind. Each session is an invitation to explore and discover at your own pace. Players choose their destination and method of travel, then set off:

• 🗺️ Orbital Destinations - visit the ISS, follow the Artemis mission sequence to the Moon, or chart a course to Mars and beyond
• 🚗 Spaceport Resort - the ground-based hub for takeoff, with plane flight and skydiving available as leisure activities
• 🗺️ Dwarf Planets - distant destinations documented by the community wiki for dedicated explorers
• 🗺️ Easter Eggs - hidden secrets scattered across the game world, actively catalogued by the 1,139-page Fandom wiki
• 🚗 Multiple Vehicles - rockets, planes, and other aircraft each handle differently and suit different destinations

The 3D Atmosphere is the technical centerpiece - a custom rendering script that gives Space Sailors its distinctive visual fidelity compared to standard Roblox environments. PC is strongly recommended with graphics set to level 9 or higher for the full effect. Mobile users may experience degraded performance on some features.

Pulsarnova is a solo developer, so update cadence is slower than studio-backed games - but the community compensates with an exceptionally active Fandom wiki. A major new game within the Space Sailors universe is currently in development, with details releasing as progress continues.
