Steal an Anime!

Steal an Anime is a competitive collection tycoon on Roblox by Monkey Pink Studio where players recruit iconic anime characters that appear on a shared map, build a Cash-generating squad, and actively steal characters from rival collections while defending their own. Characters earn money passively - even while you are offline - making it part idle game, part real-time PvP economy. Launched in May 2025, it grew to 68 million+ visits and 434K favorites in under a year.

The core loop cycles between recruiting, earning, and stealing. Anime characters periodically appear on the map - click them to add them to your Squad. Each character generates Cash per minute based on their rarity and power level. Rivals can steal characters from your active collection at any time, so building and defending a strong squad is the constant tension. Base upgrades purchased with Cash can improve your defensive position and character earning rates.

The Wheel Spin gacha system is the main way to obtain powerful characters. Spinning the wheel awards a random anime character with rarity-weighted odds - higher-tier characters are rarer but generate far more Cash. Characters from popular anime series are featured across the roster, with names referencing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Naruto, and Blue Lock among others. The Time Chamber area on the map gives Roblox Premium members a 1.5x Cash multiplier.

Monkey Pink Studio has been among the most prolific developers in this genre, releasing multiple bonus drops per update during the game's active first year - often themed around whichever anime series was being added. Joining the developer Roblox group is required to access these rewards.
