Superhero Life III

Superhero Life III is the third installment in Nightcycle's long-running superhero roleplay and combat series on Roblox, where players create custom heroes, wield unique powers, fight super villains, and explore a massive city map. Led by CJ_Oyer under the Nightcycle group and launched in June 2018, it has accumulated over 33 million visits and 221,000 favorites across its multi-year lifespan.

The game's defining feature is its extensive Powers system. Players choose from a diverse roster of abilities, each with distinct combat and traversal mechanics:

• Claws - close-range melee combat
• Magic Blast - ranged magic projectiles
• Grapple - grappling gun for fast building-to-building traversal
• Portals - teleportation shortcuts across the map
• Camouflage - stealth ability that blends into surrounding surfaces
• Mind Read - see from another player's perspective in real-time

Beyond powers, players customize their hero's visual appearance through the Suit builder (designed by Ryferion1), creating unique hero or villain identities for roleplay. The city map is approximately 20x the size of its predecessor Superhero Life II, featuring multiple districts, building interiors, and dedicated roleplay zones.

Servers hold up to 30 players, providing enough population for active hero vs villain conflicts and social roleplay scenarios. Despite launching in 2018, the game continues receiving updates (last updated April 2025), and a next installment - SHL4 - has been hinted at by the developer.
