TCG Shop Simulator

TCG Shop Simulator is a trading card shop management game on Roblox where players operate their own card store - ordering packs, stocking shelves, setting prices, serving customers, and opening packs to find rare cards for their collection. Developed by GameLoops and launched in December 2024, it has quickly grown to over 16 million visits and 521K favorites, riding the trading card game collector trend. The game draws its inspiration from the popular TCG Card Shop Simulator on Steam, adapting the concept for the Roblox platform.

The core loop is running a business. Players place Stock Orders to receive card pack shipments, then arrange products on shelves and set sell prices for each item. Customers browse the shop, and players process transactions at checkout. Setting prices too high reduces customer willingness to buy, while pricing too low cuts into profit - finding the right balance is a core skill. Staff can be hired to automate restocking and checkout processing as the shop scales up.

Progression is driven by EXP earned from successful sales. As the shop levels up, players unlock new Licenses that permit stocking higher-tier card packs. Three card collections are available as product lines:

• Tetramon - a Pokemon-inspired monster card collection
• Destiny - a distinct thematic card set
• Ghost - a third collection with its own rarity tiers

Each collection features cards ranging from common through ultra-rare. Players can personally open packs from their stock to hunt for rare cards, building a personal collection alongside the business. The Luck stat affects pull rates when opening packs, and Luck Boosts from codes make pack-opening sessions more rewarding.

The Battling system (added in a later update) lets players build decks from collected cards and engage in card game combat against other players or NPCs. This gives collected cards strategic value beyond resale and adds a competitive layer to the experience. Shop layout and design affect customer satisfaction through a Rating system - higher ratings attract more traffic. The Star currency and Shopping Speed mechanics further reward optimization.

Servers hold 6 players maximum, creating an intimate shop management experience. Joining the GameLoops Roblox group unlocks additional rewards.
