About EASTER Tower Defense X: BETA
Tower Defense X (TDX) is a wave-based cooperative tower defense game on Roblox created by GDILIVES under GDI Studios. Players deploy a roster of 40+ towers across strategic map positions to defend against increasingly powerful enemy waves that culminate in major boss encounters. With over 386 million visits and 2K-3K concurrent players, TDX supports up to 50 players per server and is one of the most-played tower defense games on Roblox.
Towers are acquired through three tiers: Gold towers form the core roster and are purchased with Gold earned after each match; Crystal towers cost the premium Crystals currency and include powerful support options like Commander and Behemoth Factory; and Event towers are earned through seasonal Battle Pass systems and are exclusive to their event window. Every tower has a dual upgrade path - players choose one of two specializations per match, letting the same tower fill completely different roles depending on strategy.
The in-match economy runs on Cash earned by killing enemies, with the Farm tower generating passive Cash income during a wave. Between matches, players spend Gold and Crystals on new towers while XP from each match increases player level, unlocking level-gated towers and lobby areas.
Difficulty modes range from Easy to the infinitely scaling Endless mode. Expert mode spans 42 waves and features seven named bosses, ending with the Eradicator MK II+ at Wave 42 - the toughest encounter in the main game. Seasonal events run every 6-8 weeks, each bringing new event currencies, battle passes, and exclusive towers:
- π Crystal towers - premium options including Commander, Behemoth Factory, and War Machine Factory; stronger support units compared to Gold towers
- β³ Seasonal events - Easter, Lunar New Year, and Christmas events with dedicated currencies like Eggs, Envelopes, and Cookies
- π Expert mode - 42 waves with seven named bosses; Destructor at Wave 40 and Eradicator MK II+ at Wave 42 as the final challenge
- π° Gold and Crystals - primary and premium currencies earned post-match for tower unlocks and upgrades
- πΊοΈ Nightmare modes - the most demanding content, accessible only on five specific maps
Code rewards include Gold, Crystals, XP, event currencies like Envelopes and Eggs, and occasionally rare towers or cosmetic name tags. The anniversary code TDX25 rewarded a Golden Z.E.D. tower, 1,000 Gold, and an exclusive confetti name tag - among the most generous code redemptions in the game's history.
