Trap a thief

Trap a Thief is a home defense survival game on Roblox where players protect their house from escalating nightly break-ins by a gang of robbers. Developed by Headless Alien Games and launched in October 2025, the game is currently in BETA and has already surpassed 28.9 million visits with a 91% approval rating.

Each in-game day follows a two-phase cycle. During the day, furniture is delivered and players prepare their defenses - buying Locks, placing traps, and arranging their home to slow down intruders. When night falls, a group of robbers attempts to break in, and players must fight them off using everything they set up. Locks placed on doors and containers are the most important defensive tool: each one buys time by forcing robbers to break through before reaching valuables.

The central question is how many nights you can survive as the difficulty escalates. Robbers grow bolder and more numerous over successive nights, so the currency earned from successful defenses needs to be reinvested in stronger protection each day.

Servers hold up to 20 players, which means you can bring friends along to coordinate defense. Despite its BETA status, the game is actively developed with a high approval rating.
