Uma Racing

Uma Racing is a skill-based racing game on Roblox developed by Vol, inspired by the Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise, where players race anthropomorphic horse-girl characters head-to-head on tracks. Unlike most Roblox racing games that reward vehicle upgrades, Uma Racing is won through Stamina management, Slipstream positioning, quick-time events (QTEs), and character-specific abilities. With around 32 million visits, it occupies a unique niche as both a crossover fan game and a genuine skill-based racer.

Each race begins with a startup QTE: press a sequence of random keys (Q, E, R, F) as fast as possible to minimize your starting delay and gain better positioning out of the gate. During the race, burning Stamina too quickly will leave you crawling through the final stretch while opponents surge past. Drafting directly behind a rival - slipstreaming - passively regenerates Stamina without any input. Pressing Spacebar at the right moment in corners triggers a cornering QTE that also recovers Stamina, rewarding precise timing.

Overtaking opponents fills the Zone meter. When it reaches full, you activate your Uma character's special ability - a powerful burst that varies by character. Each Uma has three abilities: a unique active skill, a Zone burst, and a passive bonus. Stamina-efficient characters suit longer tracks; burst-speed characters suit short sprints.

Cash is the sole currency, earned from race results and spent in the shop to unlock new Uma characters and cosmetics. The Uma Racing Community Roblox group serves as the main community hub for update announcements, and the developer maintains an active presence there.
