unConventional

unConventional is a supernatural PvP fighting game on Roblox where players attend a school where everyone has unique superpowers, competing to climb a social Hierarchy by defeating rivals. Developed by shocker games (led by cel), it has accumulated over 38 million visits since launching in August 2023.

Players unlock or spin for supernatural abilities, then use those powers in player-vs-player combat to earn Credits and rise through the school's power rankings. The ability roster is broad and mechanically diverse:

• Flash Forward - an invincibility-frame dodge with a long recharge timer
• Aura Manipulation - copies an opponent's ability and amplifies it, with the option to chain multiple copies into new combos
• Hallow - an area-of-effect or targeted instant-kill power
• Arbiter - a speed and damage boost with one-shot capability and a self-revive on death

The variety creates a meaningful skill gap where mastering counters and ability interactions matters as much as raw power. Servers hold up to 20 players, and the visible Hierarchy leaderboard drives constant social competition. Credits earned from PvP wins are spent on new abilities, cosmetics, and upgrades.

The game has been consistently updated over its lifetime, with seasonal events (Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year) and recurring "Cheesworld" themed events driving community engagement.
