About Underground War 2.0 ️
Underground War 2.0 is a fast-paced team-based PvP fighting game on Roblox created by capserg, itself a modern tribute to Stickmasterluke's classic "The Underground War" from 2008. Two teams - Red and Blue - compete to score the most Points before time runs out by digging tunnels through destructible terrain and eliminating opponents with swords and sniper rifles. With over 855 million visits and 551K+ favorites, it is one of the most enduring arcade combat games on the platform, drawing 2K-5K concurrent players per session.
What sets Underground War 2.0 apart from typical Roblox combat games is the tunnel-digging mechanic. Players actively reshape the battlefield mid-round using a Shovel, carving new attack corridors and flanking routes through dirt panels. Each dig earns 1 Point and opens a passage, while sword kills earn 7 Points - making combat the primary objective and digging the tactical movement layer that supports it. Rounds typically last 5-10 minutes in 6v6 format, creating a quick drop-in arcade experience.
All three weapons are available from spawn with no unlock requirements. The Shovel digs terrain, the Sword handles close-range combat in 1-2 hits, and the Gun picks off enemies at range with a cooldown between shots. Players spend Cash earned each round in the Shop to upgrade weapon stats - dig speed, sword damage, gun cooldown, and healing speed. These upgrades persist for the current session and compound over multiple rounds, meaning players who upgrade early hold a significant advantage.
The game also features a Rank System introduced in version 2.5.0, where Rank XP accumulates from kills, digs, and special actions like launching a Nuke. Nukes are high-stakes power plays that earn massive Cash and Rank XP for the triggering team. Cash is session-based currency for upgrades, while Rank XP tracks long-term account progression.
