Words or Die!

Words or Die is a casual word-building survival game on Roblox where players form valid words from available letters to raise a platform and escape rising lava. Developed by BlueFishStudio and released in February 2023, the game has accumulated over 10 million visits across servers of up to 8 players.

Each round places all players in an arena with lava rising from below. Available letters appear on screen, and players connect them to form valid English words. Every word formed raises your platform - longer and rarer words provide a larger height boost. The lava rises faster as the round progresses, increasing the pressure to spell quickly. Players whose platforms fall into the lava are eliminated, and the last player standing wins.

Wins and strong word performance earn Coins, which unlock cosmetic Block Skins to customize your platform's appearance.
