Work at a Hotel! ️

Hotel Simulator (known on Roblox as "Work at a Hotel!") is a cooperative hotel management simulation developed by Ocean Games where up to 7 players take on staff roles to rescue a bankrupt roadside hotel. Released in May 2022 and updated as recently as December 2025, it has earned over 28.8 million visits and 174K favorites with an 86% upvote ratio.

The game's central tension is financial survival: the Hotel Funds pool depletes as Bills are charged roughly every 5 minutes, and if it hits zero the hotel goes bankrupt and the server resets. Players must serve guests, clean rooms, and upgrade facilities fast enough to stay profitable.

Each player chooses a role that shapes their entire play session:

• The Boss - has exclusive access to hotel fund spending and earns 2x the daily salary; the most powerful and responsible role
• Pro Receptionist - earns 20x more per check-in and check-out transaction compared to a standard receptionist
• Pro Housekeeping - earns 20x more per room cleaning task; essential for keeping room turnover fast

Beyond role tasks, players earn a personal Salary separate from the shared hotel budget. A Reset mechanic lets players trade accumulated earnings for a higher per-task return rate - a prestige element that rewards long-session play. Cash and Gems are the two currencies, with Gems used for premium upgrades.
