World of Stands

World of Stands is an open-world action RPG on Roblox inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, where players obtain supernatural Stand abilities through an Arrow gacha system, level their Stand by fighting enemies and bosses, and compete in free PvP across an open environment. Developed by SpicyWater Anime and live since April 2021, the game has over 275 million visits and around 527K favorites with a 90.5% approval rating - one of the most established JoJo-themed experiences on Roblox, distinguished by its open-world format rather than arena-only combat.

Players start by using a Stand Arrow - a gacha item that grants a random Stand ability drawn from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure roster and original creations. Stands level from 1 to 70, unlocking new moves at each threshold. Some Stands have ACT forms - evolutionary upgrades that transform appearance and moveset as the Stand levels, representing major power jumps and a primary mid-term goal for progression-focused players. Boss farming provides the core resource loop:

Roka is the primary in-game currency, earned through boss farming and quests and spent on Arrows and shop items. The endgame alternates between boss farming for Arrows, PvP to test Stand performance, and hunting for Shiny Stands through Shiny Arrows. Codes release exclusively around community milestones - Discord member counts and TikTok follower targets - making Arrow rewards from codes a meaningful acceleration to the gacha cycle without regular update-based drops.
