Zombie Defense

Zombie Defense is a base-building tower defense game on Roblox by Per Games where players construct fortified bases using blocks, turrets, and traps to defend their flag from increasingly difficult zombie waves. Created in February 2020 and actively maintained through Version 2.27.0, the game has accumulated over 27 million visits and 140,000+ favorites across more than six years of development. Unlike passive tower defense games, it combines active player construction with wave survival - players can wield weapons alongside their defenses during combat.

The core gameplay alternates between building and defending phases. During build time, players construct walls from various block types, place Turrets (like Cannons and the rare Super Turret) for automated defense, and set traps to slow incoming waves. Different block materials offer different health pools at different costs - wooden blocks are cheap but fragile, while higher-tier materials offer better durability. The Flag at the center of your base is the objective - if zombies destroy it, the run ends.

Every 10 waves features a Boss Wave with a high-health boss zombie that requires focused firepower to take down. Between waves, players spend Gold (earned per zombie kill) on chests containing random blocks, turrets, and items. XP from kills and mission completion drives leveling and content unlocks. Both Standard Missions (permanent objectives) and Daily Missions (refreshing with better rewards) provide structured progression goals.

The game supports co-op play with a 10% Gold bonus per wave when playing with at least one friend. Joining the Per Games Roblox group grants 30 wooden blocks and 1 Cannon at the start of each run. Cross-platform support covers PC, mobile, tablet, and console. Code rewards have historically included Gold, Cash, XP, seasonal decorative items (Christmas Trees, Snowmen, Wreaths), rare turrets, TNT, and themed blocks.
