The 8th Annual Bloxy Awards is the official Roblox ceremony experience celebrating the best creators and games of 2020, hosted by the Roblox Presents group and aired live on March 27, 2021. The Bloxy Awards are Roblox's annual equivalent of the Emmys - recognizing top developers, content creators, and experiences that defined the platform's year. This 8th edition drew over 2.6 million votes from the community and has accumulated more than 100 million visits as players attend the ceremony and hunt for collectible items.

The experience serves as both a live broadcast venue and an interactive hub built around the Roblox Metaverse concept. The broadcast takes players on a voyage through recreated areas from iconic Roblox games, and the lobby hosts a scavenger hunt with eight hidden items. Featured creator appearances include KreekCraft, TanqR, iamSanna, LeahAshe, and Rovi23. The scavenger hunt is the primary interactive mechanic:

• ⏳ Metaverse journey - the broadcast visits Adopt Me!, RB Battles, and World // Zero, taking players through recreated scenes from these landmark Roblox experiences
• 💎 Collectible badges - I Voted!, Bloxy Builder's Helmet, Imagination Core, JParty Plushie, and Metaverse Explorer's Backpack badges track participation and completion
