Backrooms Motion

Backrooms Motion is a multi-level Backrooms survival game on Roblox created by solo developer Tommygun_1912I, with an emphasis on entity combat and player-vs-player alongside the atmospheric exploration the genre is known for. Players navigate distinct Backrooms levels, scavenge supplies from lockers, fight or evade threats, and manage an Inventory and Journal system that tracks their discoveries. Launched in May 2024, it has over 9.2 million visits with 1,000-2,500 concurrent players - impressive numbers for a solo-developed Roblox game. Exploiting results in a permanent ban.

Each level has a unique environment and its own discovery badge. Supplies found in lockers - weapons, consumables, and tools - are the core survival resource and can be dropped with Q to share with teammates. A dedicated PvP Only server separates competitive play from the cooperative experience. Roblox Premium subscribers automatically receive a Golden Beretta on every spawn as a permanent weapon advantage. The core controls layout is transparent in the game description:

The Journal (J key) records level discoveries and lore, adding a collectible narrative layer for players who explore every corner. A Player Radar pass (50 R$) provides PvP utility by showing player positions. Backrooms Motion takes a more action-forward approach than Backrooms by Red Panda Industries, appealing to players who want the atmospheric Backrooms setting paired with direct combat engagement.
