Banana Eats

Banana Eats is an asymmetric horror-survival game on Roblox developed by solo developer RyCitrus, launched in November 2019. With over 807 million visits, 1.94 million favorites, and a 1,557-page wiki at bananaeats.fandom.com, it is one of Roblox's most enduring horror experiences - inspired by Piggy and BEAR.

Each round, one or more players are randomly assigned as the Banana - a relentless pursuer - while the remaining Runners must survive, solve puzzles, and escape. The round structure creates mounting tension:

• ⚔️ Runners start with three hearts; each contact with the Banana removes one
• 🗺️ Puzzles scatter across each map and reduce the round timer (30 seconds each; the Cake Puzzle removes a full minute)
• 🗺️ Vents are narrow passages only crouching Runners can access, giving escape routes the Banana cannot follow
• 💰 Beacon on every Runner's back changes color as the Banana approaches, providing proximity warnings without a minimap
• 🏆 Pro Servers unlock at Level 16 for higher-skill matchmaking

When one minute remains, exits open - but every Runner immediately drops to one life. That escalating pressure in the final minute is the core tension that defines Banana Eats rounds.

Coins earned from rounds fund cosmetic skins for both roles and new maps. The game has issued 85 codes across its history (3 active, 82 expired), including visit milestones from 100M through 600M and seasonal events for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.
