Beaks is a bird-catching exploration simulator on Roblox developed by NEKAMI, the group behind Fisch. Launched in January 2025, it has accumulated over 25 million visits and 145,000 favorites with an 89.4% approval rating. Players equip a dart rifle with tiered ammunition to capture bird species across distinct biomes, sell their catches for Bucks, and build toward catching all 10,000 birds for the ultimate "Final Capturer" badge - held by just 693 players ever.

The dart system is at the heart of the experience. Different dart types suit different situations: Iron darts are the starting tier, Steel and Longshot darts add range and precision, and Golden Darts are the balanced top-tier option. Bird progression works by exploring biomes of escalating rarity and danger:

• 🗺️ Mount Beaks - mountain region with higher-rarity birds, reached by 23% of players
• 🗺️ Deadlands - a harsh barren region with rarer species, only 4% of players have entered
• 🗺️ Desert - a newer biome added mid-2025, reached by fewer than 1% of players
• 🗺️ Deadlands Cave - an underground extension added March 2026, entered by only 765 players

Special events add variety between biome grinds. The Wishing Well awards luck-based random rewards and has its own dedicated gamepass for doubled luck. Firefly Night and The Golden Moon are atmospheric time-based events tied to their own badge milestones. The Garden of Eden (badge: "Eden's Beauty") is a secret lush area discoverable in the game world.

Bucks earned from selling birds are spent on better rifles, darts, and equipment. Cash is a secondary currency referenced in some code rewards. The game shares lineage with Fisch - both are exploration-focused collection games from NEKAMI with patient, nature-oriented player communities.
