About Call of Chivalry
Call of Chivalry is a skill-based medieval melee combat game on Roblox developed by Code Noob Productions (developer: Nooburai, builder: ItachiKid0), released in July 2018 and actively updated as of April 2026. Directly inspired by the PC games Chivalry II and Mordhau, it rewards genuine skill investment over button mashing through advanced mechanics including ripostes, chambering, hyperarmor, and swing manipulation. With over 13 million visits and 49 active codes, it is one of the most code-generous medieval combat games on the platform.
Players choose one of four classes, grind XP and Gold through combat, and customize loadouts with weapons, armor, and cosmetics. The combat system rewards the player who has spent time learning to read and counter their opponent's attacks - not the one who paid the most:
- ⚔️ Blocking and riposte - hold or tap to block; attack immediately after a block to execute a riposte that penetrates multiple defenses
- ⚔️ Chambering - match an opponent's incoming swing type to cancel their attack and replace it with your own
- ⚔️ Hyperarmor - after a sequence of successful blocks, your next attack becomes uninterruptible with a visible aura
- ⚔️ Swing manipulation - advanced body movement technique that alters your attack hitbox, making it harder to read
- 🏆 Ranked mode - competitive ranking system for players looking to climb after mastering the basics
- 💰 Gold - primary currency for weapons, armor, and cosmetics; the weekend bonus adds 50% every Saturday and Sunday
Four classes each bring a unique active ability: Infantry with roll evasion, Knight with damage reduction, Halberdier with knockback bash, and Archer with spike trap placement. PC, mobile, console, and VR are all fully supported - one of the few skill-based combat games to cover VR.
Call of Chivalry has maintained active development for over seven years - an unusually long track record for a Roblox combat game. For players who want a larger-scale medieval combat experience, the game explicitly references Chivalry II and Mordhau as its PC inspirations.
