About CHAOS [EVENT]
CHAOS [EVENT] is a physics-driven PvP fighting game on Roblox developed by Animus Games, created February 2021. Players join 30-player servers and knock opponents with enough force to eliminate them, with a carry mechanic that lets players grab and reposition enemies for environmental kills. The game accumulated 134.6 million visits during its peak years and maintains 20-80 concurrent players today in a maintenance mode state after its last update in October 2024.
The gameplay is built around physics-based knockback combat in a free-for-all format. Every player competes against everyone else in the arena - landing hits sends opponents flying and accumulated force determines when they are eliminated. The key mechanics that distinguish it from simpler slap games are:
- ⚔️ Knockback combat - physics force applied on every hit; eliminations happen when players are knocked far enough
- ⚔️ Carry mechanic - press F to pick up an opponent and reposition them for throw attacks or environmental kills
- ⚔️ Dash - press E to move quickly in any direction for offense or to dodge incoming attacks
- 🏆 30-player free-for-all - all players compete against each other simultaneously with no team modes
- 💎 Weapon gamepasses - Frost Spear (250 Robux), Emerald Greatsword (300 Robux), Blood Dagger (400 Robux), and Ultimate Grenade (200 Robux) add combat variety beyond fists
Version 1.4 was the last documented update and reverted the hitbox to an older version after community feedback - a sign of the game's contentious balance history that contributed to its 64.2% approval rating.
CHAOS [EVENT] fits the same broad category as Slap Battles, but the carry mechanic and multi-weapon gamepass system give it a different tactical feel for players who want more options than a pure one-shot slap format.
