Dark Journey

Dark Journey is a colonial-era survival and exploration RPG on Roblox by DarkNJourney, launched February 28, 2025 and currently in Alpha. Explicitly inspired by Dead Rails (Roblox), it adds a class system, Dabux currency economy, and moral choices to the survival-navigation formula. With 18.7 million visits in just over a year and a 93.6% approval rating, it has grown strongly for an Alpha-stage title.

Players take on the role of a voyager driving a horse-drawn cart through the colonial New World, acquiring supplies, hiring NPC companions, looting villages, and making decisions that shape the fate of the land they are exploring:

• 🗺️ Horse cart exploration - a horse-drawn cart is your mobile base requiring regular horse food to keep moving; running out strands you in hostile territory
• 💼 Class system - choose Doctor (enhanced healing), Bomber (increased damage), or Vampire (speed boost at night) at spawn, each with distinct equipment
• 💼 NPC companions - hire Gunmen, Priests, or Blacksmiths from town markets for combat support, healing, or equipment maintenance
• 💰 Dabux economy - the sole currency; earned from selling looted gold bars; spent on food, weapons, supplies, and companion hires
• ⚔️ Village encounters - hostile NPC villages must be fought through, evaded, or handled with companions while looting for resources
• 🎭 Moral choices - player decisions determine whether the New World becomes better or worse for the communities encountered

The game is in Alpha with content actively expanding - crafting systems, additional classes, and companion mechanics are still growing. Three active codes each reward 10 Dabux, milestone-based at visit thresholds (DA10M at 10 million visits).
