About Escape Room
Escape Room is a puzzle adventure game on Roblox by dripan11 where players solve 48 hand-crafted stages, each built around a distinct mechanical challenge. No two stages share the same core puzzle type - every room introduces its own logic, from hidden codes revealed by darkness to binary encoding, Roman numeral translation, and circuit repair. Launched in January 2019, it has over 36.6 million visits and 193K favorites, and has been in self-described BETA for six-plus years as dripan11 adds roughly one new stage every one to two months.
Load into a stage, survey the room, find the clues hidden in the environment, solve the combination or mechanism that unlocks the exit, and advance. Progress saves automatically across sessions - you always pick up exactly where you left off. Puzzle types you will encounter across the 48 stages include:
- 🗺️ Invisible ink - turning off lights reveals glowing numbers forming the exit code
- 🗺️ Hidden scraps - paper fragments in drawers and furniture combine into a combination
- 🗺️ Binary encoding - on/off states of objects in the room translate to numeric combinations
- 🗺️ Roman numeral decoding - labeled items decode to chest or lock combinations
- 🗺️ Circuit repair - correct electrical wiring sequences to unlock doors
- 🗺️ Chemical mixing - precise sequences with no room for error
Escape Coins are the in-game currency, earned through gameplay and a daily login bonus system added in version 0.7.5. The game supports up to 20 players per server but is designed for solo or small cooperative groups, and is compatible with mobile and console.
Escape Room is a genuine standout in the Roblox puzzle genre - comparable in depth and design intent to community favorites like Flood Escape 2. With stages 49 and 50 still planned, the final shape of the game remains ahead.
