About Escape Running Head
Escape Running Head is a horror survival obstacle course on Roblox by Japanese developer manato48, launched in January 2021. Players must survive 12 stages of giant Felipe heads chasing them through themed environments and defeat the Boss arena to reach the Win Room - a beach with dancing NPCs marking your victory. The game achieved viral growth after Flamingo (YouTuber Albert) played it, compounding into over 2.86 billion total visits, placing it firmly among the top Roblox horror games by visit count.
Twelve numbered stages await, each loaded as its own sub-place with distinct environments and escalating enemy variety. Run, dodge, and survive long enough to clear each stage:
- βοΈ Face over 10 enemy types including Running Head, Giant Head, Buff Head, Flying Head, Double Head, Triple Head, Frozen Head, Blowing Head, and more
- πΊοΈ Navigate through rooms, corridors, and arenas across 12 stages to reach the Boss arena
- π Stage X is a Beetlejuice collaboration stage added in August 2024
- π Stage badges track your progress - Stage 1 has been cleared by over 282 million players, but Stage 4 by only about 38% of all players
- π A Single Play sub-place lets you run stages alone, away from other server members
The BOSS stage is the final challenge: a lava-floor arena where players must use a Rocket Launcher to shoot down boss Felipe head variants. Defeating all bosses triggers a cutscene and unlocks the Win Room. The stage teleport pass (349 R$) allows jumping to any previously cleared stage, and the Lightsaber (399 R$) handles regular head combat throughout the run.
Escape Running Head is the original game in the Felipe head sub-genre on Roblox, inspiring both FULG Studios' Escape Running Felipe Head and its sequel. A Fandom wiki at escape-running-head.fandom.com documents all head types, stage layouts, and boss strategies in detail.
