Impostor is an Among Us-inspired social deduction game on Roblox developed by solo creator ArcadeRockstar, launched in September 2020 at the peak of the global Among Us wave. With 371M+ visits and 1.57M+ favorites, it was one of the most-played social deduction games on the platform during 2020 and 2021. The game is currently in a quiet phase - 0 concurrent players and last updated November 2023 - but the visit count and favorites reflect one of the largest historical audiences ever assembled for this genre on Roblox.

Up to 10 players are split into Crewmates and one or two hidden Impostors. Crewmates complete tasks scattered around the map while trying to identify the killer through observation and discussion:

Cosmetic accessories are the only progression system - codes unlock items like the Mohawk, Cap, and VR Headset. ArcadeRockstar has not aggressively expired old codes, meaning some from the 2020-2021 peak still work. Free private servers are available for friend group sessions. The game remains accessible through its dormant phase for players searching for the original Roblox Among Us experience.
