About Massacre
Massacre is a hiders-vs-seeker horror survival game on Roblox developed by Abysmal Covenant where one Killer hunts up to 24 Survivors across dark atmospheric maps while Survivors hide, complete tasks, and fight back by any means necessary. Launched in August 2023 and still in Alpha, the game has accumulated 12.3 million visits and 123.5K favorites - exceptional retention for a horror game at this stage of development.
Each round assigns one player as the Killer, who uses a supernatural G-key ability to sweep the map for targets. Survivors are not purely passive - Massacre explicitly encourages fighting back, which keeps every round unpredictable and every Killer sweep tense. The full evasion toolkit available to Survivors shapes how each encounter plays out:
- ⚔️ Prone (X key) drops your profile flat to reduce visibility and avoid detection sweeps
- ⚔️ Crouch (C key) lowers your character for tighter hiding spots and quieter movement
- ⚔️ Ragdoll (Q key) triggers a physics fall state useful for unexpected evasion
- ⚔️ Perks from Perk Crates modify how your character functions in a match - not just how it looks
- 🏆 Credits earned from round performance are spent on Killer skins, Survivor outfits, and emotes in the store
With 57 active codes and a milestone release pattern tied to visit and favorites thresholds, Massacre has one of the highest active code counts among horror games on Roblox. Old codes tend to stay redeemable for extended periods, so new players can claim early rewards well after they were first announced.
Massacre is still in Alpha and continues to evolve. If you enjoy asymmetric horror survival, it competes in similar territory to The Mimic but with a stronger PvP-like edge driven by the Survivor fight-back mechanic.
