About Microwave Dinner
Microwave Dinner is a 3D collectathon platformer on Roblox by Microwave Dinner group inspired by classic N64 and GameCube-era platformers. Players control a sentient microwave robot on a journey to collect food, power a fridge spaceship, and return home to Earth across multiple themed worlds full of characters, secrets, and challenges. With 20.2 million visits and a 92.6% approval rating - exceptional for any platformer on Roblox - the game has built a dedicated audience since its launch in November 2019.
The game is structured as a full collectathon adventure across distinct themed worlds, with 54 badges spread across 37 sub-places serving as the primary milestone tracking system:
- šŗļø Explore World 1 - Blue Fort Port, a tropical island populated by blob NPCs who give quests and hints
- šŗļø Explore World 2 - Robo Junk City, an urban robot city filled with mechanical characters and new challenges
- š Hunt for 54 collectible badges across hidden areas, timed challenges, and story moments throughout both worlds
- š Discover hidden secrets and badge-earning areas including the Lighthouse challenge with three difficulty tiers
- šŗļø Find obscure named areas like the Cheese Vault, Rat Room, Wishing Well, and Sewer Pipe tucked throughout the worlds
The Lighthouse challenge offers three badge tiers - Finisher, Speedster, and Specialist - rewarding players who push for faster and more precise completions. Controller support for both Xbox and PlayStation is explicitly built in, making Microwave Dinner one of the rare Roblox platformers designed with console play in mind from the ground up.
World 3 with a carrot theme has been announced as coming soon. For players who love badge-hunting platformers, Microwave Dinner is one of the most polished and content-rich options on Roblox.
