Monster Battle

Monster Battle is a co-op wave-based action RPG on Roblox by Capta Games where up to 12 players team up to fight monster waves, upgrade weapons using Boost Stones, and train a collection of 27 pets through combat. Created in March 2018, the game accumulated 24.6 million visits and 177K favorites across six-plus years of active development before settling into maintenance mode in August 2024.

The gameplay loop centers on cooperative PvE:

• ⚔️ Fight waves of increasingly difficult monsters in real-time co-op with up to 11 teammates using a variety of weapon types
• 💎 Collect Boost Stones from monster drops to incrementally upgrade weapons through higher tiers
• 💎 Hatch eggs from the shop to unlock pets from the 27-variety roster, then level them up through combat participation
• 💰 Earn Coins and Gems from monster kills to fund shop purchases and egg hatches
• 🎭 Collect cosmetic Hats, Trails, and Spinners as bonus drops from monster encounters

Boost Stones are the heart of weapon progression - each upgrade tier requires more stones, and efficient farming is critical to combat power growth. Pets level up by fighting alongside the player, which means the longer a pet participates in waves, the stronger it becomes as a passive combat bonus.
