Neighbors

Neighbors is a social hangout and conversation game on Roblox developed by West Corner, launched March 2023. Players are dropped into a neighborhood-style world with up to 64 others - the core premise being organic social interaction, meeting strangers, and exploring themed worlds together. With 655 million visits and 5,000 to 12,000 concurrent players, Neighbors is one of the largest pure social experiences on the platform.

Voice Chat is what separates Neighbors from most Roblox games. Age-verified players speak to nearby players in real-time spatial audio, turning the game into something closer to a virtual public space than a structured game. The infrastructure reflects a global community:

• 🎭 Dedicated language servers for Vietnamese, Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian, Arabic, Chinese, Thai, and Polish
• 🎭 NON_VC server for players who prefer text-only interaction
• 🎭 VR support with spatial presence for headset users
• 💰 Credits earned passively at 1 per minute (2 per minute with the Verified gamepass)
• 🏠 House Customization gamepass enables personal home decoration for other players to visit
• 🏆 Time badges track loyalty from 30 minutes through 100 hours in-game

Credits are the sole currency for emotes, accessories, furniture, and cosmetics. The Verified gamepass at 600 Robux doubles Credit earnings, adds a star icon, enables dark chat mode, and expands party size to 8. A separate Neighbors (+17) version exists for age-verified adult players with more permissive social content.
