Nightmare Run

Nightmare Run is a psychological horror escape game on Roblox developed by the verified game testing boom group, launched in December 2024 and reaching 69 million visits with an active concurrent playerbase. Players journey through the catacombs of a disturbed child's mind, surviving encounters with hellish entities while uncovering a hidden story layered through exploration, named narrative events, and 13 badge unlocks.

The core loop is exploration and survival inside a nightmarish underground world populated by distinct, named threats:

The badge system conveys much of the story through its names: "What is this place?", "His favorite toy", "E R A S E D", and "The Hatch" hint at a layered narrative waiting to be uncovered. Scripter Vectoorx and builder doopob672 continue to add new content, with a new maze and additional lore announced as coming soon.

Nightmare Run sits in a similar space to Doors and Apeirophobia in the Roblox horror escape genre, with a distinctive psychological framing and a richer badge-driven story structure than most comparable titles.
