Octopus Game

Octopus Game is a survival elimination experience on Roblox inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game, developed by Jex Games under creators @AlphaVibex and @Jexemie. Launched in September 2021 to coincide with the show's global release, the game has accumulated over 167 million visits and 370K favorites with an 89.8% approval rating - one of the most successful Squid Game adaptations on the platform.

Up to 100 players join a lobby and compete across a rotating roster of 12 deadly challenge mini-games, earning Cash for surviving each round. Each session assigns mini-games at random, keeping the pressure fresh across multiple playthroughs:

• ⚔️ Red Light Green Light - move when the light is green and freeze when it turns red; caught moving means instant elimination
• ⚔️ Glass Bridge - cross a two-panel bridge by guessing the correct panel; wrong choices drop players to elimination below
• ⚔️ Rebellion - combat mode where players fight back against the game's armed guards
• 🏆 Mingle - group into the announced team size before time expires or be cut from the round
• 💎 Outfit Cases - randomized cosmetic boxes opened with Cash, including seasonal Winter and Halloween variants
• 🎭 Trading Plaza - a dedicated sub-place for player-to-player skin trading introduced in update V.1.7.2

Cash earned from surviving rounds is spent in the Shop on outfits, accessories, and cases. The trading system lets players exchange skins directly, creating a secondary cosmetic economy where rare seasonal outfits gain value as supply shrinks. Joining the Jex Games Roblox group unlocks a free blue outfit in-game.

Octopus Game stands out in the survival-elimination genre with its 12-game roster, 100-player servers, and a cosmetics economy refined through years of regular updates. The Front Man gamepass (4,500 R$) grants immunity on most mini-games and the ability to lead the guards team, while the Permanent Guard pass (499 R$) lets players always spawn as a guard and earn up to 1 million Cash per full game.
