Only Up is a vertical climbing obby on Roblox developed by Firefly Game, with over 22.5 million visits and 108K favorites since its June 2023 launch - timed perfectly to the viral popularity of the PC game of the same name. Players ascend an ever-rising tower of platforms, navigating precise jumps and narrow ledges to reach the highest point possible.

The gameplay is punishing by design: a misjudged jump sends you falling back down, losing hard-earned height. Progress comes from persistence and smarter climbing aided by Pets:

Gems are the sole currency and every redemption feeds directly into the Pet system. Pets provide three meaningful stat lines: Gems Boost multiplies how many Gems you collect per run, Speed increases movement through tight sections, and Jump extends how far you can leap. Better Pets compound over time, making each run faster than the last.

Only Up takes a more polished modern approach to vertical climbing compared to the older Only Up Blox, trading that game's contact-based movement for a more accessible platforming feel.
