Protect the King

Protect the King is an officially licensed co-op wave survival game on Roblox set in the Hyborian Age of the Conan the Barbarian universe, developed by Funcomofficial in partnership with Conan Properties International. Backed by the creators of Conan Exiles, it is one of the few AAA brand crossovers on the platform. Launched February 2024, it has surpassed 57 million visits with active development continuing through April 2026.

Players defend a king against relentless monster hordes in full co-op with up to 50 players per server. The threat driving the invasions is Shuma-Gorath, whose awakening sends waves of enemies across the Hyborian lands. Between waves, players invest earned Gold into gear and character upgrades to survive deeper into escalating difficulty:

Waves escalate in difficulty as each run progresses, with boss-tier threats drawn from Hyborian mythology eventually overwhelming underprepared or disorganized teams. Better-equipped players survive deeper into wave runs, making Gold management the real meta-game beneath the wave-slaying surface.
