About Racket Rivals
Racket Rivals is a 3v3 sports-action game on Roblox by Small World Games, launched in June 2025 and reaching 397 million visits and 3.26 million favorites in under a year. The game regularly draws 5,000-6,000 concurrent players and holds a 95.5% approval rating, making it one of the fastest-growing sports titles on the platform. It blends badminton, tennis, squash, and volleyball into a single chaotic arena format, then layers a deep Spirit and Awakening ability system on top of the core racket gameplay.
Teams of three compete on a court divided by a net, scoring points by landing the shuttle on the opponent's side. The shuttle speeds up with each consecutive rally, raising the tension as each point progresses. Players swing with left click, power swing with a held click, set the shuttle for teammates with E, and dash with Q. The ability layer is what separates Racket Rivals from pure sports games:
- ⚔️ Equip a Spirit - a character with a unique active ability (slot 1) and passive stat modifiers affecting speed, power, and swing timing
- 💎 Collect Spirits across five rarity tiers from Common through Divine, purchased directly with Yen
- 💎 Unlock Awakenings through Spins - team-wide ultimates that apply field-altering effects like water barriers, decoy shuttles, and stat drain
- 🏆 Climb Ranked Mode for ELO-style competitive progression and exclusive Ranked Rackets unavailable anywhere else
- 🎭 Join a Club (player guild introduced in Update 6) for social progression and competitive rankings separate from the individual ladder
- ⏳ Progress through the Season Pass each major update for Spins, cosmetics, and currency
Yen is earned from scoring in matches and spent directly on Spirits. Spins are the gacha currency for Awakenings and cannot be purchased with Yen, making Awakenings the higher-value reward to chase.
Racket Rivals participated in the Roblox Halloween Spotlight 2025 and the 2026 Creator Showdown. It competes in the sports-action space alongside Blade Ball from the same Small World Games studio.
