Players choose from two opposing sides and multiple roles within them, then operate inside Site 64's layered facility during escalating threat scenarios:

The O5 Command role, available through a 2,500R$ gamepass, sits at the top of the Foundation hierarchy and holds authority over the entire site - including the ability to trigger a nuclear warhead under specific conditions: an active lockdown, a confirmed breach in progress, and the required cooldown expired. The Internal Security Department (ISD) gamepass adds an internal affairs role that monitors and enforces Foundation conduct from within.

Alarms escalate situations from normal operations into full lockdown, cutting off movement and triggering faction responses. Servers hold 50 players, creating dense multi-faction conflict across Site 64's corridors, labs, containment wings, and the external Airstrip Basin escape destination. The "A Great Escape" badge - awarded to Class-D who successfully reach the Airstrip Basin - has only a 0.2% win rate, reflecting how difficult a successful escape actually is.
