Skate Speed Race

Skate Speed Race is a skateboard racing game on Roblox developed by SpinMaster where players chase each other down high-speed tracks, perform tricks mid-race to gain velocity, and compete for 1st place across 30-player servers. Launched in February 2025, the game reached over 58 million visits in roughly one year and has received at least 15 numbered updates as of April 2026.

The racing loop rewards aggressive trick use. Players skate through themed track modules where jumps and tricks provide direct speed boosts rather than style points - the faster you execute moves, the greater your competitive advantage. Finishing in the top three earns Skate Tokens, the primary progression currency used to advance the Tech Tree and purchase board unlocks. The game uses the Tech Deck brand for its collectible board catalog, lending recognizable real-world branding to the collection system:

Skate Tokens are earned by placing in the top three at race end. Tech Points feed into the Tech Tree for speed and trick unlocks. Both currencies advance through the same core loop of racing and placing well, creating a natural incentive to master trick timing on every run.

Skate Speed Race offers one of the most mechanically active skateboard racing experiences on Roblox, where trick execution during a live race directly affects the outcome rather than functioning as a separate mode.
