Skateboard Obby is a massive multi-world skateboard obstacle course game on Roblox developed by Gorilla Obby and launched in February 2024. With over 567 million visits and 2.19 million favorites in roughly two years, it is the highest-traffic skateboard-themed game on the platform. Its defining structural feature is a world-per-place architecture: 86 numbered worlds, each a self-contained obstacle course with its own theme and badge, released on a near-weekly cadence that keeps the community returning for each new drop.

Players skateboard through sequentially locked worlds, clearing each course to unlock the next. The skateboard is the movement system - momentum, jump timing, and board-specific handling all affect how obstacles play out. With 20 players per server, worlds become impromptu races to the finish between concurrent players, adding a competitive edge without a formal race mode. The current active world is World 65, the Spring World, with a seasonal collectible event running alongside it:

Coins are the primary currency, earned by completing worlds and daily challenges. The Double Coins pass doubles all earned Coins. Double Luck improves reward quality from any RNG drops. The World Pass provides early access or discounts on new world unlocks. Infinite Fly enables free aerial movement for exploration, while Double Jump adds a second air-jump to the movement kit. Fast Respawn reduces checkpoint reload delay - a quality-of-life pass that matters on longer, more punishing worlds.

Skateboard Obby's near-weekly world release cadence is its primary retention driver. Players know a new world is always coming, and the badge system gives completionists a concrete goal to chase across all 86 entries.
