Skinwalkers

Skinwalkers is a hybrid shooter-horror game on Roblox developed by Scoped Up, set at a Mexican border checkpoint overrun by shapeshifting monsters. A train carrying a cure spilled and mutated bacteria into creatures called Skinwalkers - monsters capable of disguising themselves as humans, but imperfectly. Players act as border guards using deduction and precision to identify infiltrators and snipe confirmed Skinwalkers while letting real civilian evacuees through. Launched in March 2025, the game reached 141.5 million visits in just 13 months - one of the fastest growth trajectories for a story game on Roblox in 2025-2026.

The day/night identity split is what defines Skinwalkers. During the day phase, players run a sniper-based border defense operation: observe approaching civilians, detect the subtle tells in a Skinwalker's imperfect disguise, and eliminate confirmed threats before they cross. Shooting an actual human civilian is a failure state. The skill is in reading the differences - behavioral cues, physical tells, reaction timing. When night falls, the experience shifts into full survival horror:
