How to redeem codes

Click the Twitter/X bird icon on the left side of the HUD to open the code entry window. Type your code into the Code text field and submit. Codes are case-sensitive and single-use per account. You need at least 1,000 Slaps in your account before codes can be redeemed - new players must earn a small amount of currency first. As of February 2026, the Twitter/X account verification step was removed, so codes can be redeemed freely without linking a social account. Note that Slap-rewarding codes redeemed in a private server will not be saved when you leave.

Codes typically reward Shards (secondary currency for specific mid-tier gloves), Null Shards (a rarer variant for higher-tier unlocks), free Slaps, or event bundles. Shard rewards are genuinely valuable for players working toward gloves that require Shards rather than standard Slaps - not every glove in the shop accepts Slaps as payment.

The primary source for new codes is @Slap_BattlesRBX on Twitter/X, where codes appear first. The official Discord at discord.gg/slapbattles is a secondary source. Developer Tencell also posts updates via YouTube at @Tencell. Codes release irregularly alongside major updates, developer milestones, and holiday events. Holiday codes - especially Halloween and Christmas - can expire within 24-48 hours, so redeem those immediately. The annual Slappiversary event in February is the most reliable code drop each year.

How do I redeem codes in Slap Battles?

The code may have expired, been entered with incorrect capitalization, or already been used on your account. Holiday codes in particular can expire within 24-48 hours. Also confirm you have at least 1,000 Slaps earned - new accounts cannot redeem codes until reaching this threshold.
