Specter: Legacy

Specter: Legacy is a cooperative paranormal investigation horror game on Roblox built by Lithium Labs, inspired by Phasmophobia. Teams of one to four players enter haunted locations, gather evidence, and correctly identify the ghost type to earn cash and buy better gear. Since launching in November 2020, it has accumulated 384M+ visits and 1.38M favorites - a strong footprint for a horror co-op title on the platform.

Each match, called a Job, sends your team into an investigation scene where you collect evidence through multiple tools and then submit a ghost type guess. The correct guess is the win condition:

• ⚔️ EMF Reader - detects electromagnetic activity left by ghost interactions
• 🗺️ Spirit Box - audio device for capturing ghost responses
• ⏳ Thermometer - measures temperature drops in haunted rooms
• 💎 UV Light - reveals fingerprints and footprints left by the ghost
• 🏆 Ghost Identification - the final guess that determines whether the job pays out

Evidence types mirror Phasmophobia conventions, giving the game immediate familiarity for fans of the original. Successfully identifying the ghost earns Cash, which funds the next tier of investigation equipment. The Winner badge has a 6.4% award rate - a signal that correctly identifying the ghost under pressure is a genuine challenge.

Character cosmetics are a secondary progression layer, available as bundle packs (Feline Pack, Red Crime Pack, Art Gallery Pack) in the in-game shop. Joining the Lithium Labs group provides bonus rewards every match and a one-time cash boost, and Roblox Premium subscribers receive a 10% discount on in-game purchases.

Specter: Legacy now carries the Legacy tag because Lithium Labs released SPECTER as a fully rebuilt sequel. Legacy remains active and receives occasional updates, but development focus has shifted to the newer title.
