Survival Odyssey

Survival Odyssey is an open-world survival RPG on Roblox inspired by Soybean's 2019 classic Booga Booga. Players gather resources, build bases and farms, tame mounts, form tribes, and fight rival players for control of the map. Developed by the Survival Odyssey group and launched in July 2024, it has grown rapidly to over 30 million visits and 97K favorites thanks to cross-platform availability on PC, Xbox, Mobile, and PS5. With community-driven updates every Friday at 12 PM PDT, it is one of the more substantial survival titles in the mid-tier Roblox space.

The core loop is classic survival - gather wood, stone, and food, craft tools and weapons, then build a base and farm to sustain long-term growth. Players hunt animals, fish for meat, cook at campfires, and explore caves for rare resources. From that foundation, several deeper systems layer in. Tribes function as alliance groups where players claim territory, build shared bases, and coordinate PvP raids against rivals - end-game play is largely tribe politics and warfare. Mounts like horses can be tamed from the open world for fast traversal and combat-adjacent purposes. Large-scale Farming lets players invest in food production that scales into a significant base-building system.

Full open-world PvP is enabled, with players fighting over resources, territory, and tribal dominance. The developer enforces a strict anti-cheat policy with permanent bans and active moderation. Servers hold 30 players, and Coins serve as the primary currency.
