About Survive the Killer!

What the game is about and where to play it

Survive the Killer is an asymmetric horror survival game on Roblox where one player hunts as the Killer while up to 12 others hide, crawl, revive teammates, and fight to escape before time runs out. Developed by Slyce Entertainment and launched in January 2020, the game has amassed over 2.5 billion visits and 4.2 million favorites, making it one of the most-played horror experiences on the platform - comparable in scope to Murder Mystery 2 but with a deeper collector economy.

Each round randomly selects one player as the Killer and assigns everyone else the Survivor role. Survivors scatter across the map to hide in corners, crawl through narrow wall gaps (Shift on PC, LT on Xbox), and revive downed teammates for bonus XP. Reaching the escape trigger before the timer ends earns +50 XP, while the Killer earns Coins and XP for each elimination. A full server wipe of all 12 Survivors nets the Killer 350 Coins (480 with Roblox Premium).

What sets Survive the Killer apart is its deep collectible economy. The game features 83 unique playable killers, each with distinct attack animations and visual aesthetics. The real draw for collectors is the knife skin system - limited knives, event-exclusive knives, and shop knives create a tiered trading economy with its own community value lists. Limited knives are the rarest category since they can only be obtained during specific time windows and become permanently unavailable once that window closes. The Slyce Entertainment Discord hosts an active trading channel where players evaluate trades using the W/F/L (Win/Fair/Loss) system and reference STKTradings.com for current values.

The game runs across 18 maps ranging from suburban neighborhoods to industrial facilities to swamp environments. The original three launch maps - Happy Neighborhood, Water Treatment Facility, and Willow Marsh - are known as The Original Trio by the community. Players earn Coins from kills and deaths, Gems as a premium currency, and XP for rank progression. Exclusive knife skins are the most sought-after reward type since they become permanently unobtainable once their availability window ends.

What is Survive the Killer?
Survive the Killer is an asymmetric horror survival game on Roblox where one player is randomly chosen as the Killer and up to 12 others play as Survivors trying to hide, escape, and outlast the round timer. It has over 2.5 billion visits and is developed by Slyce Entertainment.
Who made Survive the Killer?
Survive the Killer was created by Dued1, Dev_Anthony, and TattedZach under Slyce Entertainment. The game launched in January 2020, with the major v2.0 rebuild handled by Chaotic_Cody and Dev_Anthony.
How does crawling work in Survive the Killer?
Crawling lets Survivors squeeze through narrow wall gaps that are inaccessible while standing and reduces your visibility to the Killer. Press Shift on PC, Down Arrow on mobile, or LT on Xbox to toggle crawling. It is the core stealth and escape mechanic in the game.
What are code knives in Survive the Killer?
Code knives are exclusive cosmetic weapon skins that can only be obtained by redeeming a specific promotional code. Once the code expires, that knife becomes permanently unobtainable except through player-to-player trading, making code knives the rarest and most valuable items in the game.

Players can trade knife skins directly with each other. The community uses a W/F/L (Win/Fair/Loss) system to evaluate trades, and STKTradings.com serves as the primary external value list. Code-exclusive and event-limited knives hold the highest trade value.
