Tales Of Tanorio (Beta)

Tales Of Tanorio is a Pokemon-inspired creature-catching MMO on Roblox where players explore a world called Tanorio, catch creatures known as Tanorians, build a team, and battle gym-like Stadium Stars. Developed by Team of Tanorio and first launched in October 2022, the game received a major relaunch in January 2026 and has accumulated over 21 million visits with 158K favorites.

Players begin by choosing a starter Tanorian (Fire, Water, or Grass type) and set out to explore biomes, catching wild Tanorians by throwing Tanocans - the game's equivalent of Pokeballs. A 20-type effectiveness system governs battles, making type matchup knowledge critical for Stadium progression. Teams hold up to 6 Tanorians, and completing the Tanopedia (the in-game encyclopedia of all species) is the primary long-term collection goal.

Three Stadiums are currently available - defeating the Nikido Stadium and Everlush Stadium unlocks the Tanostation shop for additional Tanocans and items. The Chaining mechanic rewards players who catch the same species repeatedly, building a chain multiplier that improves chances of finding rare variants like Alpha Tanorians (boosted stats) or Aura variants (distinctive visual effects).
