Tangled-Web: Chronicles is a Spider-Man fan game on Roblox where players swing through a recreation of New York City as Peter Parker or Miles Morales. Developed by the Tangled-Web group and launched on Christmas Day 2021, it has accumulated over 31 million visits and 113K favorites, largely driven by Spider-Verse film hype.

The core appeal is fluid web-swinging physics across an open-world city map. Players control their movement with dedicated abilities - Web Swing (E key) for momentum-based traversal, Web Zip (F key) for fast directional movement, Wall Climb (Space key) for vertical building scaling, and Sprint (Shift key) for ground speed. Missions are scattered around the map as exclamation point markers and through NPCs near spawn, providing the primary way to earn Cash.

Cash is the sole in-game currency, spent on Suit Crates that contain Spider-Man suits at varying rarity tiers. The suit pool draws from across the Spider-Verse - classic comic designs, MCU movie suits, Sony Spider-Verse variants, Miles Morales editions, and original creations. All suits are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay stats. Trails (visual web effects during swinging) are also purchasable for additional customization.
