Terminal is a story-driven escape room game on Roblox where players uncover the sinister secret of Leisterez by escaping a series of life-or-death scenarios across six chapters. Developed by CCF Studios and launched in July 2023, it has accumulated 48.5 million visits, 446,000 favorites, and a consistently strong 89.1% approval rating from nearly 100,000 votes. Season 2 launched in April 2026, extending the narrative into new chapters.

Each chapter is a self-contained escape scenario set in a distinct environment - a runaway train, an abandoned tunnel, an underground bunker, a research lab, abandoned headquarters, and the Rapid Room challenge. The developer actively recommends bringing a pencil and paper, because ciphers, number patterns, and environmental codes in early puzzles may be needed again later in the same chapter:

Every chapter comes in two difficulties. Standard Mode is the original design for experienced puzzle solvers. Beginner Mode fully reworks the puzzles in every chapter for younger players or those new to escape rooms. This dual-difficulty approach explains the game's unusually high 21 total sub-places - each chapter has separate Standard and Beginner instances.

Hints are the core in-game help item. When a puzzle has you stuck, spending a Hint gives you assistance or skips the step. They are consumable, earned through codes, and purchasable. The game supports 1-4 players per session with console support covering Chapters 1-5.
