The Skinwalker is a horror survival RPG on Roblox where players navigate a dark forest at night, scavenging resources during the day and fighting to survive as a relentless creature hunts them after dark. A remastered version exists as the primary active development branch, though the original still receives occasional patches.

During the Day Phase, players explore the map to find Scrap - the core resource that converts into Credits and XP. NPC interactions unlock quests for bonus rewards, and the shop opens for weapon and item purchases. When the Night Phase begins, the Skinwalker spawns and actively hunts players. Survival requires stealth (crouching, avoiding line of sight), smart use of tools like Sodas (stamina restoration for sprinting) and Bear Traps (slowing the creature), and the tactical Whistle mechanic that manipulates the creature's patrol path.

RPG progression ties directly into combat effectiveness. Leveling up unlocks more powerful weapons, and the Credits economy gates weapon access - players must earn enough through scavenging and quest completion before they can fight back.
