Thick Legends

Thick Legends is a feeding and growth simulator on Roblox developed by Blox Universe, where players eat food scattered across floating islands to grow physically larger - and bigger characters deal more damage and have more health. Created in 2019, it accumulated over 154 million visits and 535K favorites during its peak years. The game sits somewhere between an idle simulator and casual PvP, with a lighthearted premise that made it broadly accessible. It is currently in low-maintenance state, last updated in August 2023.

The core loop is straightforward: spawn on the starter island, eat food to increase Size, and use double-tap jump (Double Jump) to reach higher platforms and travel to new floating islands. Each island unlocks new food sources, Pets, and cosmetic Dances. Bigger players win fights against smaller ones through the size-advantage combat system - no weapons or complex abilities required.

Pets are the primary progression multiplier layer. Collectible companions provide passive bonuses to stats, and pets can be evolved through rarity tiers up to the current max: Omega evolution. The most recent major update added 30 new pets, 30 new dances, a new island (Mushroom Oasis), and the Omega tier. Rebirths reset your size and progress but grant permanent multiplier bonuses, allowing faster growth on each subsequent run.

Coins are the primary currency, earned through gameplay and spent in the shop. Joining the Blox Universe Roblox group unlocks bonus in-game items in updates.
