Those Who Remain

Those Who Remain is a Roblox PvE zombie survival shooter by Peak Development Studios where players fight endless waves of Infected while looting for weapons, armor, and supplies to stay alive. Created in August 2016 and still receiving active updates a decade later, it has accumulated over 127 million visits and 1.29 million favorites - making it one of the most successful zombie survival games in Roblox history.

The core loop blends combat and scavenging under pressure. Players spawn into an infested map and face escalating waves of Infected, including multiple enemy types with distinct behaviors - standard infected, dog variants, and reindeer variants each with their own animations and movement patterns. Between waves, loot items spawn across the map, and players must balance fighting the current wave against exploring to find better weapons, armor, and medical supplies. Smart looting under pressure is the primary skill expression.

Weapons carry a full stat system covering level requirements, purchase prices, and performance ratings - all subject to developer balance adjustments as the metagame evolves. Up to 50 players share a server for large-scale co-op survival, and team coordination becomes critical as waves intensify.

Gold Gifts and Silver Gifts are premium and standard loot boxes respectively, dropped as community rewards. Each contains random in-game items, with Gold Gifts offering significantly better item rarity.
