Tongue Battles

Tongue Battles is a battlegrounds-style PvP game on Roblox where every player wields an oversized tongue as their primary weapon, slapping and eliminating opponents to steal their tongue type and progress through the roster. Inspired by Tic Tac Tongue, Slap Battles, and the broader battlegrounds genre, it takes the absurd premise seriously with a large pool of unique tongue types, each carrying distinct abilities. The game supports all platforms and has maintained a strong player community since launch.

The core loop is combat and collection: enter the arena, slap enemies with your current tongue, and eliminate players to earn their tongue type. Each tongue has a signature ability on a cooldown, creating a layer of strategy beyond raw aim. Coins are the primary currency, earned through combat and available to AFK Farm for passive accumulation - Roblox Premium players earn extra Coins from the AFK Farm. The Emote Wheel (B key) allows expression between fights without interrupting the flow.

A Hook mechanic was added in a later update, pulling opponents into range for follows-up and expanding the combo options available mid-fight.
